“No home, no worries. I’m happy now. If there are a lot of worries, my brain gets messed up. I don’t want to worry about anything. In this life being happy is the most important. I want to live every day not worrying for the next day,” said Mr Png in a mixture of Hokkien and Mandarin.

61-year old Png Kok Ngin had chosen to be homeless, constantly drifting around Hougang Avenue 5.

His main means of transport is his bicycle.

Working as a Karunguni (rag and bone) man, he earns an average of 4 - 5 dollars a day.

He sleeps whenever he feels like it, sometimes only two to three hours a day.
